Review of Since You Went Away (1944) by Jim H — 13 May 2012
Classic film about the homefront during World War II as Claudette Colbert struggles to makes ends meet and raise two daughters (Jennifer Jones & Shirley Temple) while her husband is off to war. Great supporting cast features Joseph Cotten, Monty Woolley, Agnes Moorehead and Robert Taylor.
Long, but enjoyable and an interesting look at life during this period of time.
