This is the kind of movie you watch on a lazy day with nothing else to do. At it's heart, it's a mildly entertaining adventure with some classic Harryhausen stop-motion animation. Overall, it's really pretty bad, from a poorly thought-out story to a lead actor would couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.
