Review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) by Gerardo M — 19 Nov 2014

Started off on quite a strong note, but slowly devolved into just loud, mindless scenes of people fighting with each other in a loose knit story that had trouble keeping my attention. Such potential with such a solid cast, it's a shame it all wound up being so flat.

Sin City was able to keep me glued to the screen with its fascinating characters and exceptional execution, but somehow the writers lost their way here. Definitely worth a viewing, if you're a fan of the first film, just don't expect to be as blown away as you were the first time.
