Review of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) by Benjamin W — 13 Dec 2014

Much like another disappointing sequel to an excellent graphic novel adaptation that came out this year (to which I am referring to the "300" sequel), this return to the eponymous Sin City really missed the mark.

There was too much CGI, too much sex, and too much color. The light teases of connected stories in the first film were forced and had too much time spent on each one in this sequel. There was no subtlety here, only gratuity.
