Review of Sin City (2005) by Tazio G — 16 Jan 2013
The Salesman: She shivers in the wind like the last leaf on a dying tree. I let her hear my footsteps. She only goes stiff for a moment.
"Walk down the right back alley in Sin City and you can find anything".
Sin City, directed my Robert Rodriquez, Frank Miller, and Quentin Tarantino, is a weird yet really cool comic book adaption. I could easily say this is the king of comic book movies with The Dark Knight. First things first, the special effects are exactly like the comic book with the use of black of white and very little other colors that looks stunning. Added to the special effects is the really stylish over the top action and its bizarre badass characters. There are 3 different stories told and each one is intriguing with its characters and narration. Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, and Clive Owen were the best characters in the movie and gave career performances. Sin City has everything you want in a comic book adaptation and Is the Godfather of comics. This is not a movie for everybody and I can understand that because of the ridiculous performances, weird stories, and very brutal over the top action. I liked everything from the amazing dark storyline, all star cast, and the wicked action and special effects. Another thing to mention is the ensemble of some of the sexiest chicks ever... Just saying! Sin City is my 3rd favorite movie of all time.
