Review of Sin City (2005) by Leo M — 30 May 2014
From the groundbreaking directing to the incredible acting, Sin City grabs you from beginning to end with three intriguing, dark and love driven stories.
It's a beautiful thing to see Rodrigez and Miller's comic-book based directing. Using mainly fixed cameras, with lots of closes and the beautiful use of high-contrast imaging, this picture is a sight for sore eyes from the generic looks from modern days' HQ-based movies.
Also the characters are so unique, exquisite and full of love and hate in their hearts, its almost impossible not to root for the success - and eventual failures - of the three main characters.
