Review of Simon Killer (2012) by Lovely L — 06 Feb 2014
It's all a bit predictable. The guy is a dangerous psychopath, which is quite eident from the get-go and nothing really changes. There is a pathway laden with wreckage from his actions right through the film.
That does not mean this is an entirely abhorrant film. Well, I lie, it is a bit. But it's somewhat left of centre in it's exploration of a disturbed individual. What is particularly interesting is the role his mother plays in all of it.
Not a great advertisement for mothers when you think about it!
