Review of Silver Linings Playbook (2012) by Kyle L — 14 Feb 2014

Silver Linings Playbook is a fantastic love story that managed to stand on its own and at the same time it is also the perfect movie for Valentine's day. Silver Linings Playbook is about a man name Pat who lost his whole life he lost his wife, his job and everything else and one day he meets a new girl name Tiffany but soon the two started forming a connection towards each other and as Pat and Tiffany's life goes on the Silver Linings appear in both of their lives and Pat and Tiffany starts to fall in love slowly.

To be honest I so adore this movie and I just love it a lot and when I was watching it the movie gives me a warm heart feeling whenever I watch the entire film. One of the great things about Silver Linings Playbook is that the whole film is well paced and the entire film is smoothly directed at the exact same time.

You can see that Director David O Russell managed to make the film carefully where you get to understand every character in the movie and you care for them at the same time. But the main highlight of this movie is the chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence's character and their chemistry totally gives the movie a lot of excitement and energy even love and passion at the same time.

While the second thing I like about Silver Linings Playbook is that the movie deals with a lot of themes not only love but about mental illness and therapy at the exact same time which gives the movie a lot of explainable reasons on how to deal with these kinds of situations.

Now the acting is the third main highlight of this movie all of the casts did a fantastic job with their performances in the film from Bradley Cooper to Jennifer Lawrence and my goodness Jennifer Lawrence is even prettier in this movie she's even pure gorgeous at the exact same time while the rest of the casts like Robert Deniro and the other casts did a fantastic job with their work in the movie.

Director David O Russell did a fantastic job with his work on the movie and I just love the way he managed to create a fantastic love story that deals with gallons of themes and tones that most people experience and I adore the directing of David O Russell so far.

Overall Silver Linings Playbook gets a 10/10 because this is the best romantic movie I've ever watched. I highly recommend this movie for people on Valentine's day.
