Review of Silkwood (1983) by Ruth L — 22 Apr 2008
Now that I've seen it, I still don't know what to think of it. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I think I may have watched too many movies like this to really enjoy it. I think it was a great role for Streep; I especially liked her tough broad attitude, but I really loved the simple way the movie came to a close with her singing Amazing Grace.
How very simple, yet dramatic.
