This movie is missing damn near all of the things that made this story so compelling, taking the path of least resistance while leaving out some of the most influential people involved. Variety Jones is MIA…who highly influenced everything from the hit on Green to the expansion of the site.
Ross’s travels to lay low are gone, even how he started everything from a dingy rented room growing mushrooms to get a small start on the drug inventory. Go read American Kingpin, and if reading is not your thing wait for something better to come out.
People eat true crime up now days so you know it’s coming.
