A dry plodding film whose heavy handed environmentalist message is undermined by the atrocious writing and awful performances from everyone outside of Bruce Dern. At times moody and at other's ridiculous, Dern's performance is overall quite hammy.
Dated special effects, a disorganized plot, and the worst twist in motion picture history make this film unwatchable.
