Review of Silent Running (1972) by Daniel W — 06 Apr 2009
A cult hippy space movie. If you are seeing for the first time the initial jerky camera motion, 1970's spaceship models and hearing the warbly female singing, you might worry you've rented a dud. However, it really grows on you and if you have the added pleasure of having lived through the 1970's, post moon landings and full of optimism, it's extra comforting.
These are the cutest droids ever and you will want to ride in those buggies. The themes are very important both for adults and kids.
