Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Joseph M — 04 Aug 2011
Radha Mitchell stars in this film adaptation of the popular computer game.
When her daughter suffers terrible fits of sleep walking, Rose (Mitchell) takes her to the abandoned town of Silent Hill.
However, unknown to her, Silent Hill is a place of death and terror.
As she looses her daughter, Rose must try to find her. However every other hour the town turns dark and evil creatures stalk the streets, ready to kill anyone who they should come across.
Also starring Sean Bean, Laurie Holden and Alice Kridge, 'Silent Hill' is a very creepy and intense film.
Some of the effects are very realistic and truely disturbing.
True, the storyline isn't the greatest and it all a little pointless, but the horror/fantasy is quite unique and entertaining that it keeps the filmenojyable in a creepy sort of way.
A good for fans of horror.
