Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Hans C — 25 Apr 2012
I think only a person to play the games could appreciate this movie. The sense of confusion and terror the games offered, are accurately portrayed in the movie. The actors, and the directors understanding of the games met well. There were times I felt absolute terror in the games which maybe didn't translate the same in the movie, but made up for it in horror as, I, wasn't directly involved. As far as the horror genre (game to film) goes, this was a very good effort.
The end made my heart cry. Well done Sean Bean. I just pray no sequels are attempted.
