Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Rjmacready — 08 Aug 2020

There's really only one stand-out sequence in this entire film - the one with the nurses - but it's a perfectly alright if highly uninspired video game adaptation, overall. I'm not sure it'll make much sense to anyone unfamiliar with the games, though (for the fans, it does feature cameos from many of the franchise's most memorable monsters, including the always-adorable "Pyramid Head").

Still a darn sight better than the sequel, and it does at least nail the atmosphere at times.
