Silent hill is a horror movie that grows over time. The visuals weren't meant to look pretty,and the feel of the movie was dreadful to begin. A horror is not supposed to make sense and in the end there is no roses,candy or sunshine.

Silent hill nailed the horror nightmare aspect and I guranteed that if you watched it now you would have a totally different opinion now. To me silent hill is one of the greatest horror movies ever made!!!! And I have watched literally hundreds of them.
