While the dialogue and pointlessness for the lion's share of the film leave quite a bit to be desired, I was almost drooling over the beautiful visuals. I found I was better off muting the film and admiring the fog, the rust, and the monsters.

And I was better off pretending this was a flick independent of the games, as the majority of monsters were misplaced/incorrect. Despite its myriad of flaws, the scenery makes this well worth a second view.
