Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Mattb. — 28 Oct 2009
Silent Hill was an extraordinary horror film. That. *shock* actually focused on horror, rather then scaring you senseless or portraying as many grotesque maulings as it could. The movie was dramatic, though the acting wasn't perfect, the scenes were amazing.
They felt both real, AND terrifying. The plot is not dry at all, in fact, I've few times seen something done that Silent Hill did. While it can be somewhat confusing, that only adds to the mystery and suspense.
Instead of having your movie spoon fed to you, it makes you think. I didn't even play the game and I liked it.
