Review of Silence (2017) by Filippo V — 13 Jan 2017
This rockets Scorsese into the singular title of Greatest Living Director. An epic 30 years in the making that pays homage to Kurosawa and also incorporates breathtaking cinematography and stunning acting from Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield who deserves a standing ovation.
While it is not flawless, this film will stand the test of time and Scorsese will be remember for this relic.
