Review of Silence (2017) by Scott H — 23 Jan 2017
A riveting movie for about an hour or so, but then it becomes redundant and is capped by an ending so over the top and obvious that it's almost laughable when it finally plays out. The acting is incredible and the cinematography unique, but it clearly thinks it's better than it is and features such an easy and obvious commentary and message that it isn't as impactful overall as its first and middle acts make you think it will be.
