Review of Signs (2002) by Hasriona — 19 Jul 2011
A properly scary film. It's by no means original, but it works well with what it has to create genuinely scary minutes with a good lead from Mel Gibson, and what works even better is it's underlying message of faith and hope in the face of a crisis, leading to a satisfying, complex film overall.
It's not the best alien invasion film, but not many alien invasion films can turn the concept of invasion into a religious moral.
