What could, so easily, have been just another rom-com, is lifted a hell of a lot by deft direction, a top-draw script and excellent performances.
This is a movie about characters who are rooted in reality, with all the flaws, pretentions and neurosis of real life.
It's warm and witty, but also, at times, tear-jerkingly poignant. For me, it's a winner.
