Review of Side Effects (2013) by Daniel C — 30 Dec 2013
Steven Sodergergh is one of the best with atmospheric thrillers. This resonates well of his past feature "Contagion" with the florescent hues of a singular color. The film is smartly written with a wonderful collection of performances.
It is delivers a great payoff at the end in part to Soderbergh's tight direction. It may be a forgettable film but it is very well worth the hour and forty-five minutes.
