Alright movie, better soundtrack. There were many historical inaccuracies I was able to point out (SHE WAS FOUND UNDER THE SINK NOT BELLY DOWN ON THE FLOOR, I'VE SEEN THE PICTURES TO PROVE IT!)I thought they could've made Chloe Webb look a lot more mannish and ugly like the real Nancy did, but other than that it rocked.
I thought Gary Oldman did a terrific job as Sid. Favorite line: "I LOOK LIKE FUCKING STEVIE NICKS!!!" (Nancy seeing herself in a window decked out in multiple scarves/shawls. I respect that they left the ending mysterious, that they didn't push the blame for Nancy's death towards anyone in particular.
It makes me really sad for Sid that he went so young and had such a shitty life. I still think they should've let Courtney Love play Nancy instead of "Gretchen". The ending was so cheesy.
Still a favorite for some reason.
