Review of Sicko (2007) by Alejandro C — 29 Oct 2009
So I have said this before but Michael Moore wither you love him or hate him is one of of the most important filmmakers of this century, and Sicko proves it.
Moore has the ability to make you laugh out loud, or piss you off to no end with his no holds barred attack on your emotions, and while his other films are just as effective, Sicko more than any other film he has done really hits you hard with the stories of several American trying to find medical help in a system that cares more about money then it does people.
Moore's documentaries are often called biased, but he tells it like it is and a lot of people can't handle it. This is certainly one of the best documentaries I have ever seen, and has solidified Moore's status as one of the greatest documentary filmmakers of all time.
