Review of Sicko (2007) by Kyle M — 16 Nov 2009
"People who are better off pay for those who are worse off.".
Every person in the United States should watch this. No other film that I've seen so clearly demonstrates that this country is run by inconsiderate sociopaths without a shred of humanism. While watching this, I made my first mental steps towards planning to eventually leave this country. Socialized medicine is a necessity, and the rich are stopping it from happening. More proof that living in American blows unless you're rich, and that the easiest way to get rich is to exploit people who are worse off. So, in the most intellectual, radical, honest, and sincere way possible, let me sound off on the bullshit this film exposes:
Screw our health care industry, the padded-pockets politicians, the health insurance companies, the right-wing nuts that make people fear socialized medicine, and if you don't think everyone in this country should have the right to free health care, well, screw you too.
Watching this made me sick to be an American.
