Review of Sicko (2007) by Kyle S — 04 Jan 2010
I think this is probably Moore's most solid documentary (though I haven't seen "Capitalism" yet). And I noticed a distinct lack of confrontation with CEO's and government officials this time around, which I think was really smart on Moore's part -- he let the situations speak for themselves.
I honestly do not understand the American way of thinking as far as health care is concerned. It just boggles my mind. I'm fine admitting that the Canadian health care system is far from perfect, but good lord am I happy we at least have what we have.
