Review of Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018) by Dawdlingpoet — 25 Nov 2021
This is a good action thriller film if you mainly like chases and explosions. It reminded me a bit of the Denzel Washington film 'Man on Fire' due to being set in Mexico, with the kidnapped young girl.
There is a fair bit of subtitles present, for the Mexican dialogue, which may or may not be an issue. I thought the special effects and camerawork was quite good and its a pretty entertaining watch, although perhaps a little predictable and the plot isn't exactly amazing.
This is a goodish watch which I'd say is worth seeing if it sounds of interest but perhaps not otherwise.
