What appealed to me about the first movie was a broken man who'd had everything taken away from him getting even but a woman somehow resonating with the past life of his daughter and trying to keep him connected to humanity.
In this second installment where you want to see the star continue in his vengeful pursuit fails miserably. I was stunned with the script. I expected something like a jason borne unleashed but got, something that left me feeling violated or robbed as a fan of the first movie. Hollywood and their efforts to create franchises destroyed this installement.
