Review of Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018) by Sinead K — 01 Jul 2018

I see there are certainly mixed reactions to this movie but I found it compelling stuff with great performances from our leads. I have seen the first movie but it was a while ago so I can't remember it inside out and thus my opinion isn't affected by comparing it to the original film.

Still, I can recognise that the plot could have been a little stronger but on the whole I felt it delivered a great thriller with good action scenes, beautiful camera work and a fitting sound track. Roll on the next movie.
