"Sicario" has a toughness to it that is appreciated, plus a great deal of suspense and terrific work from the leads, particularly Benecio Del Toro. The ending is undeniably grim, though, and makes the movie a bit harder to recommend.
Not saying I wouldn't tell people it's worth seeing, but I'd advise them to be prepared for the last few minutes.
