From minute one it is undoubtedly established that this is not going to be an easy watch. And the ending sure as hell brands, tattos and kneads that into your brain. My god, the ending was just visually chilling, morally disgusting but intriguingly beautiful.
The acting was fine in this film, good quality nothing to complain about. Cinematography was fantastic also. My only real gripe with this film was the slight decrease in thrills in the second act and sometimes Josh Brolins humour, whilst slight, didn't always fit in with the tone trying to be set (although it was particularly well done).
