Time to meet God.
An aspiring FBI agent requests to be on a case to bring down a drug cartel that crosses into Mexico. She is partnered on a special task force that has already begun the mission. She is initially appalled that her team uses a drug kingpin as part of their task force, but she will quickly discovers why he is a vital part of the team.
"If you try anything your daughters will be violated by twenty men.".
Denis Villeneuve, director of Prisoners, Enemy, Incendies, Enemy, and the upcoming Story of Life and Blade Runner projects, delivers Sicario. The storyline for this picture was entertaining, well paced, and contained intense action sequences. The acting was very good and the cast includes Emily Blunt, Benecio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, and Victor Garber.
"In the end, you will understand.".
I was excited to see this and actually just missed it at the drive-in when we caught Spectre. We recently grabbed this from Red Box and I really liked it. This wasn't perfect, or a must own, but it was an entertaining action flix. I'd watch the sequel.
