Review of Sicario (2015) by Christopher B — 15 Jul 2016
A taut, nicely made, well-acted thriller that is more striking with its dark commentary than mere action sequences. It can seem unremarkable and rather slow in the first half, with only a few scenes of sheer tension building, but the second half finds its footing with a number of good twists, some exceptional cinematography and an awesome turn from Benicio del Toro.
