Review of Sicario (2015) by Tyler H — 15 Oct 2017
This is an intense, deep thriller. Not sure I massively 'enjoyed' it on first viewing but it may require another look to fully appreciate. There are some excellent performances by all involved and it feels like you're reading a novel in a similar way to Villeneuve's earlier film 'Prisoners'.
It feels like such a believable premise that it's soul-searchingly depressing at times. Another strong film in the back catalogue.
