Review of Sicario (2015) by Rick K — 07 May 2017

It was a strong start with some cool set pieces but it just plummeted from there. The characters were dull and predictable, especially the protagonist - I'm not surprised she didn't sign on for a sequel giving that she was probably bored out of her mind playing the character.

I'm not usually one to try and guess a film but I couldn't help but know exactly what was going to happen with the characters and the plot, I looked it up and I was spot on the money. I'm baffled that the person who made brilliantly original films like Prisoners and Enemy, made such a generic, lifeless picture, and the ending was just cringeworthy to be honest.
