Review of Shutter Island (2010) by Turner E — 13 Jul 2013
Shutter Island:
****(out of 4).
Just when you've got this film figured out, it keeps on spinning. I would rather by stupified then bored and trust me, you won't be bored.
During the 1950's, a young federal marshall played by Leonardo DiCaprio investigates the disaperance of an insane women in an asylum. He soon discovers that it literally is not what it seems.
In don't know why this film was pushed back because it could have been one hell of an Oscar contender Its one of the most insane, well acted, well directed, phycological films i've ever seen.
