Review of Shutter (2004) by Edgar C — 16 Jun 2010
The creepiness and suspense are far greater than the film's quality. From that point of view, it is rather hard to say if that's a good thing or a bad thing for this modest Thailand concept. For the ones that know Thai cinema, they won't deny that Thailand can do MUCH better, and copying the Japanese style is certainly not the best way to display originality. It really takes balls of metal to watch this alone with a loud TV, but in a good PG-13 horror you need more.
63/100.
