Review of Shrek (2001) by Brian C — 29 Nov 2012
A very funny twist on Disney-esque animated fairy tales that skewers Disney right through the corporate heart with hilarious results. But there are a few touching moments. Mike Myers as the title character, a green, mean tempured ogre with a heart of gold, is truely funny.
But Eddie Murphy as the character Donkey, a wise-cracking talking donkey, steals every scene he's in. A very fun and entertaining film that the whole family can enjoy. I highly recommend for anyone who is a kid or still a kid at heart.
