Even now, Shrek quite possibly remains DreamWorks's best animated film. Filled to the brim with fairy-tale parodies, as well as having a fair dose of adult humour and a simple-enough plot, Shrek is a cinematic masterpiece for all ages that rivals Pixar's best.
