Comedy about two cops, one of whom has acting aspirations, starring in a reality TV show. Unfortunately, this film reeks of clichés and childishness right from the start and indeed it doesn't take long for it to reveal itself as a lame cop buddy movie that doesn't exploit any of the satirical elements.
Aside from a few laughs, Showtime is quite simply and underwhelming comedy and forgettable viewing experience.
