Review of Showgirls (1995) by Murder C — 11 Aug 2012
The young Nomi Malone (Elizabeth Berkley) is hitch-hiking and find her way to Las Vegas to become a exotic dancer looking for a chance to be cast in the popular Stardust stage show. Right off the stripper pole, "Showgirls" is a terrible movie.
Elizabeth Berkley is not much of an actress and her character is overall unlikeable. The rest of the characters are just as hollow and forgettable. As for the story there isn't much structure to it, characters come and go, things happens just to not really have any relevance at all.
But of course there is a redeeming factor in all the nonsense: Nudity, and lots of it. Tits, ass and frontal, it's all in here and that can't be all that bad, but then again there is always real porn.
