Apart from his full-length features this is absolutely, 100% the most amazing Charlie Chaplin. It develops into the best story he has possibly ever written and played. The romance is great, the potrayal of life in the trenches was great and of course, it was side-splittingly hilarious.
Pity he wakes up and it's all a dream, really!
