Review of Shotgun Stories (2007) by Machete J — 03 May 2010

First of all, the title is sounds so much more action-y than the actual movie. The whole movie is slow pace but never dull. It retells such a classic tale but in innovative manner. It tells the rivalry of three unwanted sons and four beloved sons of all the same father.Michael Shannon is supreb in the film. Even though the movie is kinda short, there is so much more behind the literal context of the movie.

If you were wanting an action movie, not for you.

If you are wanting to watch something deep, you should definitely watch it.
