Review of Shotgun Stories (2007) by Ken S — 08 Jun 2016
A feud between the sons of a recently deceased men come to a head when the father dies, and the sons he abandoned show up to the funeral and insult his memory in front of the sons of his second family.
It is a fine slowburn drama, well written and directed by Jeff Nichols in his debut effort, and a fine cast, specifically in lead Michael Shannon.
