I think this film was a little TOO childish in comparison to Rodriguez's other child films "Spy Kids" and tried to do a little too much. The script and many flaws which is "rare" in a Robert Rodriguez film and was missing the artistic vision we usually get from him.
Overall I was thoroughly disappointed, although still VERY appreciative of what he was trying to do with the film.
