What's the very difference between "Shortbus" and any other explicit movie like "9 Songs"or "Intimacy"?

It's the humour! Even though it's a dark movie, all the sex scenes are still unbelivable funny, unique, and visionary like I've never seen before (and I've seen a lot!) You have to watch it on a big screen and you'll rather recall its magic than any nudity.

While 9 Songs is just another useless porn movie, wherein certain people just need to make the experience of fucking in front of a camera, shortbus is quiet rewarding.

J.C. Mitchell is a visual artist who found a way to move the world with topics that touch everyone.

And only an american is able to get the brilliant idea, allowing his protagonist to jerk off accidentally on a real Pollock.
