Gay men work out their relationship issues, woman orgasms for the first time, "broken inside" dominatrix doesn't really seem to learn anything. The therapist talking about false epiphanies in the movie makes me wonder if she was breaking the 4th wall because the growth of the characters seem artificial.
Director believes emotional music, people crying and graphic sex equates to substance.Some scenes are pretty funny, and some of the more tender moments did bring out "dem feels".C-.
