Review of Short Term 12 (2013) by Caz H — 12 Jul 2015

I feel this is one of the best films I have seen in a really long time. The performances are superb and it's stunning to look at. I felt really connected to the characters very early on and the emotional depth of the film cannot be understated.

I found it managed to be both heartfelt and unsentimental at the same time. I hate describing things as 'real' but this is how it felt to me - a beautiful human drama that was also documentary like.

Loved it.
