Review of Short Term 12 (2013) by John K — 13 Sep 2015
I can say first hand that this movie has some of the most accurate portrayals of teen mental illness ever put to the big screen. Both Brie Larson and Kaitlyn Dever give the performances of their careers thus far and it should deliver hope to all indie directors who feel hopeless because they don't have access to millions upon millions of dollars to make their movies.
